I tried to return some polyester fiberfill that has never been opened ...fully sealed bag ...that I bought for dollars. it's a few days past the sixty day return, so the cashier very nicely said she'd have to check with her manager. she walked over to talk to her manager in earshot and sight of me and the manager was so rude, and said, "too bad, that 's how the system works. I don't care if it isnt open" nasty, not polite, not trying to explain it... just no. and then she said, "well, she can have credit if she wants" so I said to the cashier...Okay I'll take credit... Then the cashier rings it up to give me credit only she's going to give me two dollars in credit. Because that's the lowest sale price that they've ever had it at, so that's the credit I get. i took my product and the receipt and left. I know that when I go to the other michael's I shop at, they'll be polite and kind and probably give me a full refund.

Michael's used to be great before Covid. Now they are often low in stock in the art department, the wood department is getting smaller every day and they are getting very heavy in home decor. I very often find myself ordering on Amazon while standing in Michael's. I miss the old store that had CRAFT SUPPLIES!

I love this store, but this location specifically. They always have what I need, there's usually a coupon I can use to save some money and the clearance section is my favorite part. I always score big before holidays!

Michaels is one of those stores I can walk into for “just one thing,” and somehow end up staying way longer than I planned — in a good way. Every time I visit this location, I’m reminded why it’s my go-to place for any kind of creative project. The store is always clean, organized, and laid out in a way that makes browsing enjoyable and stress-free. What I really like about this Michaels is how easy it is to find inspiration just by walking down the aisles. Whether it’s seasonal décor, paints, craft kits, frames, or baking supplies, everything is displayed neatly and fully stocked. Even if you don’t come in with a plan, you end up leaving with ideas. I’ve grabbed things here for home projects, gifts, and even a couple of last-minute school projects, and they always seem to have exactly what I need. The staff is also a major highlight. They’re friendly, patient, and actually knowledgeable about the products. More than once, someone has gone out of their way to help me find the right size frame or point me toward the best option for a DIY project. Was in store to pick an order on Black Friday a. As I get the register to pay and collect my order. The cashier, a young lady with red curly hair looked at me such disdain. She acted like she didn’t want to help. Talked to me very condescendingly and was very dismissive. Also she looking at me with a judgmental look on her face. Never have had an interaction with anyone like this before unprovoked. (Mind you I saw her do the same thing to a customer prior to ringing me up) Everyone on staff in my previous experiences of shopping at this location has been good, prior to this interaction. I hope store management and District Managers see this and talk to her about giving better customer service. The holiday season is here and I know the last thing anyone is not going to want to deal with is a judgemental cashier. As welll as the next customer me she’s rude to will probably won’t be as calm as I was. Also please don’t have the cashiers talk trash about they just service, it’s tacky and rude.

Amazing store with a wide selection of arts, crafts & beaded accessories. I was able to craft an Ehecachichtli necklace with an assortment of dark & light polished mango wood with silver skulls I sourced through an online vendor & found the beautiful black leather bolo cord to string it right here In Poughkeepsie! A little pricey for only a yard. I had just enough cord to make one necklace but nonetheless a great purchase I highly recommend.

Great stuff at Michael's! Their Posca paint marker sets are up front, behind the counter. They have various Liquitex & Golden paints.

I love this store for the beautiful things they have and the special Christmas items. I wanted to buy everything I saw. The employees are very helpful and kind. Everything is very organized so you can quickly find what you need.
